Grashoff Earns ACC Offensive Player of the Week Honors

GREENSBORO, N.C.- Senior forward Jule Grashoff grabbed ACC Offensive Player of the Week honors for the second time this season after tying a career-high four goals in Wake Forest's 7-0 shutout victory over Davidson on Sunday.
The Bremen, Germany native scored all four goals off penalty corners with assists from Megan Anderson and Veerle Bos. She also notched an assist, finding Eleanor Winants on the opposite side of the goal for the tip-in. Grashoff finished the contest with a career-high nine points in her final regular season game at Kentner Stadium.
Grashoff leads the ACC in shots (74), points (39) and goals (18), while she ranks ninth nationally with 1.06 goals per game and 19th with 1.88 points per game. With 62 career goals, the senior ranks third all-time in the Wake Forest record books.The Deacs will travel to Chapel Hill, N.C. to face Louisville in the opening round of the ACC Field Hockey Championship on Thursday, Nov. 1 at 4 p.m. Tickets for the event can be purchased at the gate.
