• The Demon Deacons return home to take on High Point on Tuesday at 7 p.m. on ACC Network Extra.

Last Time Out
• Wake Forest suffered its first defeat of the season, falling at Syracuse by a 2-0 score.
• Syracuse goalkeeper Hendrik Hilpert stopped all five shots on goal he faced to keep the Deacs off the board.
• Wake Forest's 11-game winning streak to start the year was the second-longest in program history. It also ends Wake Forest's undefeated streak against ACC opponents (23 games) and on the road (12 games), both of which lasted more than two years since a defeat at Clemson in September 2016.

• Wake Forest was ranked No. 5 in the nation in the United Soccer Coaches preseason poll and moved up to No. 1 in the first weekly poll. The Deacs have been ranked in the top five in 28 consecutive polls dating back to the middle of the 2016 season - 22 more weeks than any other program (Indiana/North Carolina - 6).
• The Deacs are once again one of the top teams in the country. Wake Forest has the second-highest winning percentage in the nation (Saint Mary's), and leads the country with 34 goals.
• Wake Forest has a lot of new faces after sending seven into the MLS ranks following the 2017 season. Still, the Deacs brought in the No. 2 recruiting class in the country, headlined by top-50 recruits Isaiah Parente, Kyle Holcomb, Koby Carr and Aristotle Zarris.
• Since the start of the Bobby Muuss era in 2015, Wake Forest has a 66-9-7 overall record. That win total is the most of any Division I program.

Opponent & Series History
• Wake Forest leads the all-time series against High Point, 7-1-1. The Deacs have won seven straight in the series since a loss in 1980 and draw in 1981.
• Last year, Wake Forest claimed a double-overtime victory over the Panthers, with Justin McMaster assisting a Jon Bakero golden goal. That was High Point's last road loss; the Panthers just took over the longest road winning streak with the Deacs' loss at Syracuse.
• High Point enters on a six-match winning streak since falling to Elon on Sept. 8. The Panthers have won back-to-back games in double overtime over UNC Asheville and Longwood most recently.
• Ilias Kosmidis leads High Point with 20 points on nine goals and two assists, while Tony Pineda and Siggi Benonysson have 12 points apiece.
• Keegan Meyer has played every minute in goal for a 0.86 goals-against average and .767 save percentage.
