PALM CITY, Fla. – The Wake Forest men's golf team concluded play Tuesday with the final round of the Valspar Collegiate at The Floridian. The Demon Deacons shot 14-over during the third round to finish the tournament in 12th place at 26-over.
Parker Gillam led the Demon Deacons at the tournament with a 36th place finish at 5-over, following a final round 75. The low round of the day was shot by Paul McBride and Eric Bae, who each carded a final round 73. Lee Detmer shot a final round 77 and Marco Steyn had a 78 to round out the Wake Forest lineup.
The Demon Deacons return to action March 30-April 1 with the 3M Augusta Invitational in Augusta, Ga.
