FRANKLIN, Tenn. – The Wake Forest women's golf team climbed from fifth place to second place during the second day of the Mason Rudolph Championship. The Deacs shot 3-under during the second round and are 1-under midway through the third round, which was suspended due to weather. If weather permits, the final round will conclude on Sunday at the Vanderbilt Legends Club.
"We've moved up the leaderboard and have a few holes left," said head coach Kim Lewellen. "Hopefully we will be able to play tomorrow and continue the forward charge. It has been a blast to watch these athletes compete."
Emilia Migliaccio is in second place at 11-under, two shots off the lead. She shot a 4-under 68 in the second round and is 4-under through 10 holes of her final round. Siyun Liu is in third place at 9-under after shooting 70 in the second round and being 2-under through 11 holes of her final round. Jennifer Kupcho is at 1-over for the tournament, while Letizia Bagnoli is at 16-over and Vanessa Knecht is at 18-over.
