Grashoff Tabbed NFHCA Offensive Player of the Week

GILBERT, ARIZ- After notching ACC Offensive Player of the Week honors on Tuesday, Wake Forest field hockey senior Jule Grashoff has also been tabbed Longstreth/ NFHCA Offensive Player of the Week for her performance against then No. 7 Louisville and Richmond, the organization announced on Wednesday.
Wake Forest re-entered the national poll at No. 21 following a 4-2 victory over then No. 7 Louisville and a 4-0 shutout against the University of Richmond. Grashoff recorded her second career hat trick, scoring two equalizers against the Cardinals on penalty corners and sealed the victory with her third goal in the 68th minute. The Bremen, Germany native scored her first career hat trick as a sophomore on Oct. 28, 2016 as the Deacons defeated Appalachian State, 9-1.
Grashoff tallied her fourth goal of the weekend in Wake Forest's 4-0 shutout over Richmond on Sunday. The senior leads the Deacons with seven goals on the season and is second on the team with 16 points.
Wake Forest returns to action on Friday, Sept. 28, as the Deacons welcome Duke at 5 p.m., before taking on Liberty on the road on Sunday, Sept. 30 at 1 p.m.
