THE MATCHUP
• The Deacons look to extend their four-game win streak against the fourth-ranked Duke Blue Devils in ACC play on Friday, Sept. 28 at 5 p.m. at Kentner Stadium.
• Wake Forest will cap the weekend with a non-conference road match against No. 20 Liberty, on Sunday, Sept. 30 at 1 p.m.
• Sunday's match against Liberty will be streamed on ESPN+.
LAST TIME OUT
• Wake Forest defeated then No. 7 Louisville, 4-2 at Kentner Stadium on Friday, Sept. 21.
• Jule Grashoff scored her second career-hat trick and finished with six points, while senior Megan Anderson added a goal and three assists.
• The Deacons recorded their first shutout victory as they defeated Richmond, 4-0. Four different Deacs notched a goal in the win.
• Grashoff earned ACC and NFHCA Offensive Player of the Week honors for her four-goal performance over the weekend.

• Head coach Jen Averill returns for her 27th season at the helm of the program
• The Deacons return 13 players from last year's squad, led by Grashoff, who led the team with 16 goals and 14 assists. The club also welcomes eight new freshmen.
• Grashoff was recently tabbed Preseason ALL-ACC, voted on by the league's seven coaches. Wake Forest was picked to finish seventh in the conference.
• Former U.S. National Team captain Melissa Gonzalez joins Wake Forest as an assistant coach. Gonzalez spent the past eight years competing with the U.S. Women's National Team and representing Team USA at two Olympic Games.
• Megan Anderson leads the nation in assists per game with 1.22. She has tallied 11 assists so far this season.
SCOUTING THE BLUE DEVILS
• Duke makes the short trip to Winston-Salem with a 7-3 overall record and a 1-1 mark in conference play.
• The Blue Devils split last weekend, falling to No. 1 North Carolina, but defeating James Madison, 5-2.
• Caroline Andretta leads the team with eight goals, while Rose Tynan leads with 18 points on seven goals and four assists.
• Goal keeper Sammi Steele has notched almost 700 minutes in the net with 29 saves.
SCOUTING THE FLAMES
• Liberty is 7-2 on the year and currently on a four-match win streak.
• The Flames are ranked No. 20 in the Penn Monto/NFHCA Poll following wins over Villanova, Lafayette and Temple.
• Agueda Moroni leads the Flames with a staggering 16 goals and eight assists (40 points) so far this season.
• The Deacons faced the Flames earlier this season in an exhibition matchup and fell 4-3 following a shootout.
LOOKING AHEAD
• Wake Forest will face No. 1 North Carolina on Saturday, Oct. 6 in Chapel Hill and will host the Appalachian State Mountaineers on Sunday, Oct. 7.
