The Matchup
• The Wake Forest women's basketball looks to win its second consecutive ACC game on Thursday, Jan. 31, as the Demon Deacons play host to No. 7 NC State.
• Tipoff is set for 7:00 p.m. inside the LJVM Coliseum. The game will be broadcast on the ACC Network Extra, with Evan Lepler, Stan Lewter and Hailey Brooke McFadden on the call.
Last Time Out
• The Deacs won their first ACC game of the season, a 52-42 road win over Virginia on Sunday, January 27.
• Ivana Raca led the offense in scoring for the third consecutive game, scoring 21 points while adding eight rebounds. The 21 points were one shy of matching her career high, which she set in the season opener. Against ACC opponents, Raca had never scored more than 14 points in a game.

• Gina Conti ranks second in the ACC in assists per game (5.2) and is tied for the league lead in minutes per game (35.5). Conti has played less than 30 minutes once this year and her 104 total assists are 25th in the country.
• Alex Sharp, Ariel Stephenson and Elisa Penna, three of Wake Forest's top-four scorers from a year ago, have all missed considerable time this season. The three combined have missed a total of 34 games this year due to an injury.
