The Matchup
• The 33rd-ranked Demon Deacons return home for a pair of conference matches this weekend, welcoming No. 40 Boston College on Friday afternoon at 4 p.m. and No. 20 Virginia on Sunday at noon. 

Last Time Out
• Wake Forest competed in the annual Blue Gray Classic last weekend, advancing to the championship match after defeating Yale, 4-0 and No. 22 Illinois, 4-3. 
• The Deacs fell to No. 13 Oklahoma State in the championship match. 
Anna Brylin went 3-0 at the Blue Gray Classic with two doubles wins and a singles victory. She received the Blue Gray Sportsmanship Award for her performance over the weekend. 

2018 Season in Review 
• The Deacs finished the 2018 season with a 20-14 overall record and 5-9 mark in ACC play. 
• The program's 20 wins were the most since the 2002 season. 
• The Deacons advanced to the second round of the of the NCAA Championships for the first time since 2007. 
• Wake Forest won the Ohio State ITA Kick-Off Regional Championship to advance to the ITA National Indoor Team Championships for the first time since 2009. 
Emma Davis earned a top-25 ranking (25) to become the first Wake Forest women's player to do so since 2011. Davis was also named First Team All-ACC. 
Eliza Omirou had the ninth best freshman season in program history after stringing together 49 combined wins in singles and doubles. 

Quick Hits
• Senior Emma Davis is just three singles wins away from reaching 100 career-wins . She would be the first player since 2002 to reach the milestone. 
• Head coach Jeff Wyshner picked up his 100th Wake Forest victory after defeating Western Carolina. He is just the third coach in Wake women's tennis history to achieve the milestone. 

Scouting the Eagles
• Boston College (9-3, 1-3 ACC) started the season on a nine-match winning streak, but is currently on a three-match losing streak in ACC play. 

Scouting the Cavaliers
• Virginia makes the trip to Winston-Salem boasting a 9-3, 3-1 record after defeating Virginia Tech 6-1 last weekend. 
• The Cavs will face Clemson on Friday before taking on Wake Forest.
