• Following a 12-day hiatus, Wake Forest women's tennis returns home to host William & Mary and Western Carolina on Saturday, Feb. 9 at 10 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.

• Wake Forest is led by three seniors, captains Emma Davis, Anna Ulyashchenko and Joanna Zalewski.

Season in Review
• The Deacs finished the 2018 season with a 20-14 overall record and 5-9 mark in ACC play.
• The program's 20 wins were the most since the 2002 season.
• The Deacons advanced to the second round of the of the NCAA Championships for the first time since 2007.
• Wake Forest won the Ohio State ITA Kick-Off Regional Championship to advance to the ITA National Indoor Team Championships for the first time since 2009.
• Emma Davis earned a top-25 ranking (25) to become the first Wake Forest women's player to do so since 2011. Davis was also named First Team All-ACC.
• Eliza Omirou had the ninth best freshman season in program history after stringing together 49 combined wins in singles and doubles.
Scouting the Tribe
• William & Mary enters the match with a 1-4 record, its lone win coming in its season-opener over Richmond.
• The Tribe are led by All-CAA First Team picks in Rosie Cheng and Natalia Perry, as well as senior Clara Tanielian, who was a second team all-league pick in 2018.
• In 2018, W&M finished the year at 17-10 overall and capped the season ranked second in the Atlantic Region and No. 45 nationally
Scouting the Catamounts
• Western Carolina makes the short trip to Winston-Salem looking for its first win of the 2019 season.
• The Catamounts dropped to UNC Asheville and Appalachian State to open the season.
