The Matchup
• Wake Forest travels to No. 10 Louisville this weekend for a three-game series on ACC Network Extra.
Last Time Out
• UNCG scored eight-straight runs in the middle innings and Wake Forest's rally fell short in a 9-5 loss at UNCG on Tuesday night.
• Patrick Frick continued his strong play by going 2-for-3 at the plate, while Shane Muntz added a pair of hits, including a three-run homer.

• The Demon Deacon offense has picked up significantly since the calender turned to March. In the 17 games this month, Wake Forest is hitting .304 as a team with 38 doubles and 22 home runs, averaging 8.4 runs per game. Patrick Frick and Michael Turconi are both hitting better than .400 this month, while Chris Lanzilli and Bobby Seymour have combined for 16 doubles, seven homers and 45 RBIs.
• The back end of Wake Forest's bullpen has been impressive as of late. William Fleming and Antonio Menendez both have ERAs below 3.00. That duo has combined to work 17.1 consecutive scoreless innings; Menendez has three-straight shutout outings covering 7.0 innings, while Fleming has tossed six-straight scoreless apperances over 10.1 innings, allowing just four hits and two walks in that span.
• Patrick Frick was named the ACC Player of the Week after hitting .538 (.7-for-13) over the weekend with a home run, double, four RBIs and two stolen bases.
Opponent & Series History
• Louisville leads the all-time series against Wake Forest, 11-3. The Demon Deacons won their first series over the Cardinals in Winston-Salem last year, but Louisville evened the season series at two games apiece with a win in the ACC Championship.
• The Cardinals enter the weekend with a 19-6 overall record, as well as a 6-3 mark in ACC play. In addition to having a team ERA of just 2.68, the Cardinals also feature preseason All-American Logan Wyatt, currently hitting .278 with an NCAA-best 34 walks.
