Deacs In Second Place at Darius Rucker Intercollegiate

HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. – The Wake Forest women's golf team continued play Saturday at the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate with the tournament's second round at Long Cove Club. The Demon Deacons shot 4-over on Saturday to move into a second-place tie after 36 holes.
In an event that features 11 of the top 20 teams in the nation, the No. 13 Demon Deacons are tied with No. 3 Duke at 5-over, trailing only No. 19 Florida State, who lead at 3-under.
Senior Jennifer Kupcho continues to lead the Deacons, shooting a 3-under 68 in the second round to finish the day at 5-under. She is in second place on the individual leaderboard, one shot off the lead.
Sophomore Emilia Migliaccio is at 1-over for the tournament after a second-round 74. Junior Siyun Liu remained at 4-over for the event after an even par 71 on Saturday. Letizia Bagnoli is at 5-over for the tournament after a second-round 76.
