The Matchups
• Wake Forest closes the regular season with a pair of ACC matches on Friday and Sunday.
• The Deacs travel to Virginia Tech on Friday to face the Hokies at 3 p.m., before returning home to host Pitt on Sunday at 10 a.m. for Senior Day.
• Emma Davis, Anna Ulyashchenko and Joanna Zalewski are the three seniors that will be honored.

• Wake faced two top-10 ACC opponents, dropping a hard-fought match to No. 10 NC State at home on Friday, and falling 7-0 to second-ranked UNC on Sunday.
• Wake Forest remains at No. 22 in the ITA poll, but dropped out of the Tennis Channel/ USTA poll. Davis moves up two spots to No. 31 in the singles rankings, while Carter/Davis move up to 33rd nationally in doubles.

• Senior Emma Davis upset 11th-ranked Kenya Jones of Georgia Tech to earn her 100th career-singles victory. She is the first player to reach this milestone since 2002.
• The Deacs have six -ranked wins on the season, including five in ACC play.
• Davis and doubles partner Chandler Carter have earned over 50 career doubles wins together. They are just the fifth Wake duo to accomplish this feat and the first since Janet Bergman and Bea Bielik in 1999-02.
Scouting the Hokies
• Virginia Tech is 8-13 overall and just 2-10 in ACC play. It's two conference wins came against Louisville and Pitt.
• Natalie Novotna leads the Hokies with a 7-11 record on the top court.
• The Hokies are 6-6 at the Burrows-Burleson Tennis Center this season.
