• Wake Forest travels to Pitt this weekend for a three-game series on ACC Network Extra.

That duo has combined to allow four runs over the last 32.2 innings; Menendez has conceded two runs over seven outings covering 14.2 innings, while Fleming has allowed two runs over his last 10 outings in 18.0 innings, allowing just eight hits and four walks in that span.
• Patrick Frick ranks third in the ACC with a .375 batting average to go along with six doubles, three homers, 32 RBIs and six stolen bases. Sophomores Chris Lanzilli and Bobby Seymour are tied for the ACC lead with 44 RBIs apiece. Lanzilli is hitting .345 with 16 doubles and nine homers, while Seymour is batting .365 with 10 doubles and five home runs.

• The all-time series between Wake Forest and Pitt is tied, 3-3. The Panthers won the only series in Pittsburgh in 2015, while Wake Forest defended its home field in 2017. In that 2017 series, current senior Jake Mueller batted .500 while this year's Friday starter Colin Peluse threw 3.0 scoreless frames out of the bullpen.
