Last Time Out
• The Demon Deacons capped off the series against No. 14 Miami with a thrilling 9-7 win Monday night on ESPNU. Trailing 6-4 in the eighth, Wake Forest recorded a five-run inning en route to the victory.
Bobby Seymour tied the game with a two-run double to right-center. Shane Muntz followed with an opposite-field, two-run homer on a 1-2 pitch, then Michael Ludowig left the yard on the very next pitch to put the Deacs ahead.
Tyler Witt earned the victory with 4.0 innings in relief, while William Fleming tallied his ninth save of the season.

Wake Forest Storylines
• Wake Forest's offense has become one of the powers of the ACC. The Deacs rank in the top five in the league in batting average, runs, home runs, and slugging percentage, also ranking in the top 20 nationally in runs, homers and walks.
• A quartet of Deacons have been the catalyst to that offense: Bobby Seymour, Chris Lanzilli, Patrick Frick and Shane Muntz. Seymour and Frick are ranked in the top five in the ACC with batting averages of .377 and .364, respectively. Seymour is second in the nation with 81 RBIs on 17 doubles and eight homers. Frick has hit 14 doubles and four homers while drawing a team-best 36 walks. Lanzilli is hitting .344, leading the team with 17 doubles and 15 homers to go along with 60 RBIs. Muntz is batting .331 with 14 homers - seven of those in his last nine games.

• Radford is 26-24 overall and leads the Big South with a 17-7 league mark. J.D. Mundy was named the conference's player of the week after going 8-for-11 with three homers and eight RBIs in a sweep over UNC Asheville.
