THE MATCHUP
• The seventh-ranked Wake Forest men's tennis team begins its 2020 season with a double header on Saturday at the Wake Forest Tennis Center.
• The Deacs will welcome Coastal Carolina and Tennessee Tech to Winston-Salem. First serve against the Chanticleers is set for noon and the match against the Golden Eagles will begin at approximately 6 p.m.

LAST TIME OUT
• Wake Forest posted a 34-4 record in 2019 and competed for it's second consecutive title, advancing to the finals of the NCAA Championships, but finished runner-up to Texas. En route to the finals, Wake defeated Morgan State, Kentucky, Oklahoma, Virginia and North Carolina in the NCAA Tournament.
• The Deacons won the ACC regular season and the ACC Tournament both for the third time in school history. Wake finished the ACC season 12-0, posting an undefeated record for only the second time in program history.
• Bar Botzer, Petros Chrysochos and Borna Gojo were named All-Americans, while Chrysochos and Botzer earned All-ACC recognition.
• Botzer finished the 2019 season with 40 singles victories, second in the record books only trailing Chrysochos' 44 wins in 2018.

BRESKY SEEKS WIN 200
• In his ninth season at the helm, head coach Tony Bresky is one win shy of his 200th victory at Wake Forest. He enters the 2020 spring season with an overall record of 199-61-0 and an ACC mark of 67- 25-0
• His .765 overall winning percentage is the best of any Wake Forest men's tennis coach.

MEET THE DEACS
• The Deacs return 11 players from last year's NCAA finals team and welcome seven freshman to the squad.
• Freshmen Brant Fenno, Juan Lopez de Azcona, Robert Maciag, Jack Parry and Matt Thomson joined the Deacs in the fall, while Taha Baadi and Henri Squire enrolled in January.
