THE MATCHUPS
• No. 24 Wake Forest travels to Stillwater, Oklahoma to take part in the ITA Kickoff Weekend.
• On the opening day, the Deacs will take on a fellow top-25 team in No. 25 Ohio State.
• The winner will advance to play either host No. 10 Oklahoma State or San Diego.

LAST TIME OUT
• The Demon Deacons opened the spring season with a pair of matches against College of Charleston and reigning Big South Champions Winthrop. Wake Forest swept both matches, winning 7-0 inside of the Wake Forest Tennis Center.
• Junior Eliza Omirou picked up three wins on Saturday including a pair of wins in singles play. In her second singles match of the day, Omirou defeated No. 95 ranked Alisa Solovena in straight-set fashion (6-1, 6-2).

QUICK HITS
• After a pair of singles wins over the weekend, Saby Nihalani moved to 10-2 on the season. The sophomore also holds an impressive 22-7 career record in doubles play.
• Wake Forest ranked singles players in Carolyn Campana and Anna Campana both won their singles matches over the weekend.
• Last season, the Deacs advanced to the second day of ITA Kickoff Weekend before falling to No. 14 South Carolina in Columbia, S.C.

SCOUTING THE BUCKEYES
• The Buckeyes have yet to play a dual match this season, only playing in the Michigan Invite so far this spring.
• Entering the spring, Ohio State has three players ranked in singles including No. 11 Shiori Fukuda.

SCOUTING SAN DIEGO AND OKLAHOMA STATE
• In the Toreros lone match of the spring, they defeated Nevada (4-0) and are led by No. 39 singles player Solymar Colling.
• The host Oklahoma State enters as the highest ranked team at No. 10 and have three ranked singles players including No.16 Lisa Marie Rioux.

UP NEXT
• The Demon Deacons return home to face Kansas on Jan. 31 at the Wake Forest Tennis Center.
• It will be the first time since the 2006-07 season Wake Forest and Kansas will play each other.
