THE MATCHUPS
• Wake Forest continues its tough non-conference slate of duel matches against No. 19 Kansas on Friday afternoon at WF Tennis Center. The Demon Deacons then hit the road to close out the weekend at William & Mary on Sunday.
• It will be the first time since the 2006-07 season Wake Forest and Kansas will play each other.
• Last season, the Demon Deacons hosted the Tribe as the Deacs grabbed a 6-1 win.

LAST TIME OUT
• The Demon Deacons are coming off a 4-0 sweep of San Diego to close out ITA Kickoff Weekend in Stillwater, Okla.
• After winning the doubles point, Wake Forest cruised to victory as Eliza Omirou, No. 82 Anna Campana and Chandler Carter all won in straight-set fashion to close out the match. At the conclusion of the contest, the Deacs led in the remaining three singles matches with No. 44 Carolyn Campana just one game away from closing out the Toreros No. 1 in No. 39 ranked Collig.

QUICK HITS
• The No. 2 doubles pairing of Carolyn Campana and Chandler Carter was crucial for the Demon Deacons a week ago. They won both of their matches including a 6-0 victory against San Diego on Sunday.
• Carter continued her stellar play on in singles action as she clinched the San Diego match and nearly defeated the No. 58 ranked singles player against Ohio St.
• Last season, the Deacs finished with a 13-1 record in home matches with the lone loss coming to #10 NC State.

SCOUTING THE JAYHAWKS
• After starting the spring with home wins over Drake and Wichita State,No. 19 Kansas dropped both of its matches in ITA Kickoff Weekend
• They are led by two top-100 singles players in No. 63 Smagina and No. 93  Ngounoue.

SCOUTING THE TRIBE
• William & Mary is off to a 2-0 start in spring with victories over George Washington and Winthrop last weekend.
• Before hosting Wake, the Tribe is set to play Dartmouth on Saturday

UP NEXT
• The Demon Deacons are off for two weeks before traveling to Clemson on February 16, marking the beginning of ACC play.
• First serve is scheduled for noon in Clemson, S.C. Last season, Wake Forest swept Clemson 7-0 inside of the Wake Forest Tennis Complex.
