SCHEDULE UPDATE
• Due to travel issues for Illinois, Wake Forest will now play Seton Hall at 2 p.m. Friday. The Milwaukee vs. Illinois game has been pushed back to 6 p.m.
The Matchup
• No. 18-ranked Wake Forest opens the 2020 campaign at home by playing host to Seton Hall, Milwaukee and Illinois this weekend. Friday's game will be broadcast live on ACCNX.

• Friday: Celebrate Valentine's day with the Diamond Deacs! The first 250 fans get a free piece of Valentine's Day chocolate.
• Saturday: Are you ready, kids? We're going to Bikini Bottom for Spongebob Day at the ballpark. Kids can also run the bases after the last game.
• Sunday: Dollar Dog Day
Wake Forest Storylines
• Wake Forest returns seven starters from one of the top offenses in the country. The Demon Deacons led the ACC in scoring last year with 7.8 runs per game.
• The Demon Deacons feature a trio of preseason All-Americans. Bobby Seymour was the ACC Player of the Year a season ago, while Chris Lanzilli is also a returning All-American. Shane Muntz was recognized by the NCBWA as a second team preseason All-American at DH.
• All four of Wake Forest's weekend pitching rotation are coming off impressive summers in the Cape Cod League.
Opponent & Series History
• Wake Forest has faced Seton Hall once, earning an 8-3 win in the 2000 Columbia, South Carolina Regional. The Pirates finished 2019 with a 25-28 record and 9-9 mark in Big East play. Tyler Shedler-McAvoy returns after hitting a team-high .324 with 12 doubles and six triples.
• This weekend will mark the first meetings between Wake Forest and Milwaukee. The Panthers went 35-21-1 last year with an 18-11 mark in the Horizon League. Milwaukee's top offensive returner is Joe Vyskocil, who hit .330 with 14 doubles and eight homers.
• The Deacs and Illini split a pair of games at the 1998 NCAA South I Regional in Gainesville, Florida. Illinois defeated Wake Forest last year to take a 2-1 lead in the series. Last year, Illinois qualified for the Oxford, Mississippi Regional before finishing the year with a 36-21 record.

• Wake Forest remains at home on Tuesday to play UNCG at 4 p.m. on ACCNX.
• The Deacs then travel to Long Beach State from Feb. 21-23 for a three-game series.
