
Wake Looks to Defend Home Court Sunday Against Virginia Tech

The Demon Deacons will look to capture ninth home win and fifth in conference play
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The Wake Forest women's basketball team returns home to Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum on Sunday afternoon.
The Demon Deacons (13-12, 6-8 ACC) completed the regular season sweep of Clemson on Thursday night with a 66-52 road victory. They will be in search of their ninth home victory and fifth in ACC play.
Despite having eight conference wins, the Hokies (18-6, 8-5 ACC) only hold a 2-4 record in ACC road contests. Taja Cole, who had eight assists on Thursday night, leads the conference with 6.4 assists per game and ranks fifth in the nation.
Tipoff for Sunday afternoon's game against the Hokies is scheduled for 1 p.m. (ET) at in LJVM Coliseum. The game can also be seen on ACCNX.

LEGACY WEEKEND
It will be Legacy Weekend as Wake Forest welcomes back all former players, coaches and their families for a weekend with the current Deacs squad.
As a part of Legacy Weekend, former Deacs got to spent Saturday reconnecting with former teammates and members of the program while getting a glimpse of practice in the new Sutton/Shah Performance Center.
NATIONAL GIRLS AND WOMEN IN SPORTS DAY
Wake Forest will also be National Girls and Women in Sports Day inside of LJVM Coliseum on Sunday.
During the game, Wake will be honoring female leaders in the community, there will be a photobooth on the concourse and a chalk talk with the Wake coaches before the game.
