Wake Forest will be looking for its seventh ACC victory of the season and first over a ranked opponent

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The Wake Forest women's basketball team travels to Tallahassee, Fla. Thursday for the final regular season road game against No. 17 Florida State.
 
Junior Ivana Raca has led the Demon Deacons (13-13, 6-9 ACC) offensively in the last two games, averaging 23.5 points per game including a 24-point performance on Sunday afternoon.
 
The nationally-ranked Seminoles (20-5, 9-5 ACC) are coming off a loss at Duke on Sunday afternoon. This season Florida State has yet to drop two games in a row with a perfect 5-0 record after a loss.

Tipoff for Thursday night's game against the Seminoles is scheduled for 7 p.m. (ET) at in Donald L. Tucker Center. The game can also be seen on ACCNX.

INTERNATIONAL FLAVOR
Wake Forest roster features players from six countries around the world, the most of any team in the conference. This includes Alex Sharp is from Australia, Ivana Raca from Serbia, Christina Morra from Canada, Ellen Hahne from Sweden and Anaia Hoard from France.

"I love the balance academically and athletically, plus getting to play in the ACC," Morra said. "From an academic perspective, Wake is a top-30 institution, so it's a great balance between the two."

With one more win in ACC play, Wake Forest would have seven conference wins this season, tying the second highest output in program history.

If the Demon Deacons win their final three games this season, they would tie the program record of nine ACC victories in a single season.

AMONG THE NATION'S ELITE
Gina Conti now has 129 assists on the season and is averaging 5.0 assists per game.

The Grove City, Ohio native now ranks 27th in the nation in total assists and 38th in the country in assists per game.
 
She is currently tied for seventh in program history with 360 career assists.
 
WAKE LEGEND TO EARN PRESTIGIOUS AWARD
Former Wake Forest women's basketball standout Amy Privette Perko is set to receive the Dick Enberg Award, as announced by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) on Tuesday.

The Dick Enberg Award is given to someone supporting the goals of education and support of the Academic All-America program and/or its ideals.

Perko, who was inducted into the Wake Forest Sports Hall of Fame in 2000, played for the Demon Deacons from 1984-87, leaving as the Deacs' leader in points, rebounds, assists and steals while also graduating Summa Cum Laude with a bachelor's degree in history. She remains in the top 10 in each of those categories.
