WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The Wake Forest women's basketball team closes out the regular season inside of Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum Thursday night against Miami (FL).
The Demon Deacons (14-14, 7-10 ACC) will be in search of their eighth ACC victory of the season and improve their position in the standings ahead of next week's conference tournament. Wake Forest is currently just a half game back of both North Carolina and Virginia, holding the head-to-head tiebreaker over both schools.
The Hurricanes (13-14, 5-11 ACC) returned a key piece to their team ahead of their 75-64 loss at Boston College. After missing the last 13 games due to injury, Lisa Leslie Award finalist Beatrice Mompremier reentered to the lineup. She comes into Thursday averaging 16.2 points and 10.1 rebounds on the season.
Tipoff for Thursday night's game against the Hurricanes is scheduled for 7 p.m. (ET) at in LJVM Coliseum. The game can also be seen on ACCNX.

After a seven-assist performance against North Carolina, Gina Conti now has 140 assists on the season and is averaging 5.0 assists per game.
The Grove City, Ohio native now ranks 25th in the nation in total assists and 34th in the country in assists per game.
She is currently seventh in program history with 371 career assists.
