THE MATCHUPS
• The Demon Deacons travel to Raleigh, N.C. for a Friday afternoon match against No. 3/5 NC State. Wake will be looking for back-to-back top-5 victories after defeating No. 5 Princeton on Saturday.
• Sunday, Wake Forest is in Atlanta, Ga. against No. 10/15 Georgia Tech. Last season, the Deacs defeated the Yellowjackets, 7-0, in Winston-Salem.

LAST TIME OUT
• After finishing as the runner-up the past two seasons, Wake Forest grabbed three wins over the weekend en route to capturing the Blue Gray Classic title. On their way to the championship round, the Deacs beat No. 31 Auburn and SMU, 4-1. The victory over SMU marked the 300th win for Jeff Wyshner as a women's head coach.
• In the final against No. 5 Princeton, the Deacs jumped out early, grabbing the doubles point. Both Carolyn Campana and Anna Campana won their singles matches in straight sets and tournament MVP Chandler Carter provided the clinching point.

QUICK HITS
• Wake Forest saw a rise in both the ITA Rankings and the USTA Rankings, this week. In both polls, the Demon Deacons rose up seven spots as they are now in the top 20 in both. Additionally, Wake Forest was named the USTA Team of the Week.
• The win over Princeton in the finals of the Blue Gray Classic marked the first top-5 win for Wake since March 2000.

SCOUTING THE WOLFPACK
• NC State comes into the weekend riding a five-match win streak and hold a 9-0 record at home this spring including two wins over ranked teams.
• The Wolfpack have four ranked singles players inside the top 100 including No. 16 ranked Alana Smith.

SCOUTING THE YELLOWJACKETS
• Georgia Tech comes into the weekend riding a three-match win streak including a 4-3 victory over No. 9 Virginia on Feb. 21.
• The Yellowjackets are led by three ranked singles players including No. 23 ranked Kenya Jones.

UP NEXT
• Wake Forest returns to Winston for its first ACC home match of the year.
• The Deacs play host to North Carolina, who is currently ranked No. 1 in the country by both the ITA and USTA. The match is March 8 at noon (ET).
