
Wake Forest Looks to Bounce Back Against Seminoles

Following a near upset of the nation’s top-ranked team, the Demon Deacons will look to rebound with a home victory against Florida State on Thursday night.
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The Wake Forest women's basketball remains home in Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum for a second consecutive week, playing host to Florida State on Thursday evening.
The Demon Deacons (7-6, 4-5 ACC) nearly knocked off No. 1 Louisville on Sunday behind another strong defensive performance. Wake Forest limited the high-powered Cardinals' offense to a season-low 65 points on a season-low 39.7 percent shooting from the field (23-of-58).
The Seminoles (5-3, 4-3 ACC) three losses this season have all come on the road, holding a 1-3 record when traveling this season. Morgan Jones leads Florida State's offense with 16.3 points per game while shooting an efficient 52.2 percent from the field. Additionally, the Seminoles are one of the best free throw shooting teams in the country, knocking down 78.1 percent of their opportunities this season.
Tipoff for Thursday's game against Florida State is scheduled for 6 p.m. (ET) in Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum. The game will air on ACC Network Extra.

AVERAGING A DOUBLE-DOUBLE
Senior forward Ivana Raca comes into Thursday night's contest as one of just four players in the ACC to average a double-double. She has a team-best 16.0 points and 10.0 rebounds per game. Her rebounding numbers have seen a huge uptick this season after pulling down an average of 6.8 boards during her junior campaign.
The last Demon Deacon to average a double-double was Dearica Hamby during the 2014-15 season when Hamby posted 20.3 points and 10.7 rebounds.
There have only been four Wake Forest players to average better than 10 rebounds over the course of a single season.

Ivana Raca is looking to enter rare air as just the fourth player in program history to finish her career ranked in the top 10 in program history in both total points and total rebounds.
She enters Thursday night's game needing just 74 points to rise into the top 10 while also needing just 31 rebounds to climb into that top-10 list.
