Deacs Travel to Take on Tennessee

No. 16 Wake Forest is set to take on the Lady Vols in Knoxville, Tenn. on Sunday morning.
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. - A week after competing in the ITA Kickoff Weekend, the No. 16 Wake Forest women's tennis team travels to Knoxville Tenn. on Tennessee in a dual match on Sunday.
The first serve is scheduled for 11 a.m. at Goodfriend Tennis Center.
The Demon Deacons are familiar with making the four-hour trip to Knoxville as they have taken part in the Tennessee Invitational in four of the last five seasons.
Wake Forest is looking to continue its strong start to the season after a win over No. 18 UCF highlighted the ITA Kickoff Weekend.

LAST TIME
The Deacs fell 4-0 to Northwestern in their second match of the ITA Kickoff Weekend on Monday afternoon.
- For the second consecutive match, freshman Brooke Killingsworth nearly picked up her first career ranked win, bringing No. 57 Byrne into the third frame.
NEXT UP
The Deacs are off until Saturday, Feb. 13 when they play host to William & Mary for their second home match of the season at Wake Forest Tennis Center.
The first serve against the Tribe is scheduled for 3 p.m.
