
Perry, Sciba Earn ACC Weekly Honors

Wide receiver A.T. Perry finished the afternoon with a career-high three touchdowns on three catches for 137 yards while Nick Sciba converted on a pair of field goals from 40 yards and 22 yards, respectively.
GREENSBORO, N.C. - Wake Forest football redshirt sophomore wide receiver A.T. Perry and junior kicker Nick Sciba received ACC weekly honors for their performances in the Demon Deacons' Week 6 victory at Syracuse, as announced by the league office on Tuesday afternoon.
Perry, who was named ACC Receiver of the Week, received his first ACC honor of his Wake Forest career. Sciba, who was the ACC Specialist of the Week, earned his second honor in two weeks and this marks the third week this season a Deac has been named the conference specialist of the week.
This marks the second consecutive week the Demon Deacons have had multiple player of the week honorees and the third time overall this season (Sept. 6, Oct. 4 and Oct. 11).
Receiver of the Week
A.T. Perry produced a career day to lead Wake Forest's offense with three catches for 137 yards and a career-best three touchdowns. His 47.5 yards per catch average ranks fifth in program history:

Perry's trio of receiving scores marked his fifth, sixth and seventh touchdown receptions of the season.
All three of Perry's touchdown receptions were over 20-plus yards, the sixth, seventh and eighth reception of 20-plus yards this season (46 yards, 69 yards and 22 yards). Additionally, his first two receptions were Perry's third and fourth of 40-plus yards.
Perry's final catch was the game-winning touchdown in overtime.
Specialist of the Week (Again)
Junior kicker Nick Sciba was named the ACC's Specialist of the Week for the second time this season after going a perfect 2-of-2 on field goals with a pair of extra points in the Demon Deacons' overtime win.
Sciba connected on field goal attempts from 22 and 40 yards, marking his 23rd and 24th-straight successful tries, the longest active streak in the NCAA. The Clover, S.C. native still holds the highest field goal percentage in NCAA history at a clip of 90.8% (69-of-76).
Sciba, who broke the program record for career points in Week 4 at Virginia, increased his career point total to 359 in week 6. The junior continues to rise on the ACC all-time scoring list as well, passing Casey Barth (North Carolina) to move into 12th on the list.

Wake Forest Being Recognized
The duo's accolades mark the sixth and seventh time this season a Demon Deacon has received ACC weekly honors.
Following Wake Forest's season-opening victory, senior defensive back Ja'Sir Taylor (Specialist of the Week) and freshman defensive lineman Jasheen Davis (Co-Rookie of the Week) earned honors.
Additionally, this is the third week in a row a Demon Deacon has been honored as Nick Sciba (Co-Specialist of the Week) garnered recognition after his performance at Virginia and Justice Ellison (Rookie of the Week) and Traveon Redd (Defensive Back of the Week) earned the first ACC honors of their careers for their efforts in Wake Forest's 37-34 victory versus Louisville.
