Wake Forest decisively took the third set, 25-14.

The Deacons closed out the set and match going on a 12-5 run, winning the fourth frame, 25-11, and the match, 3-1.
"Virginia came at us right from the start. We had a difficult time in the first set slowing down their offense. The second set was more our speed and tempo and we responded well. The third and fourth set showed our players what we are capable of when we take care of our side of the court."
