Three Titles and 24 Wins Highlight Wake Forest Invite

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- Wake Forest men's tennis had one singles and two doubles pairs clinch titles at the Wake Forest Invite on Sunday.
The Valenza, Italy, native bested Mika Berghaus 6-4, 6-4 in the final match to hand him his sixth win of the weekend. He also captured two wins with partner Jurabek Karimov in the A2 doubles bracket.
Robert Maciag and Ben Draper also earned a win to claim another title for the Demon Deacons as they took down Berghaus/Grubert, 7-6 (5). Juan Lopez de Azcona and Matthew Thomson picked the third title with a 6-4 victory over Ellis / Carroll in the A3 doubles final.
This weekend's event concluded Wake Forest's fall team schedule as the Demon Deacons claimed 24 total wins with 16 singles and eight doubles.
