WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Wake Forest men's tennis is set to host the Wake Forest Spring Invitational to begin the spring dual season this weekend at the Wake Forest Tennis Center.
The Round of 32 singles championship will begin at 1 p.m. ET for the Demon Deacons Thursday afternoon as nine are set to compete in the invitational.
On Wednesday, the Demon Deacons landed at No. 10 in the ITA Preseason Top 25 Coaches Poll.
Finding themselves in the singles rankings were Filippo Moroni (75), Jakob Schnaitter (85), Taha Baadi (100) and Robert Maciag (117).
At the conclusion of the Wake Forest Invite, the Deacs open their 2022 spring campaign Sunday, Jan. 9 with a home doubleheader against Tennessee Tech. The first math will begin at 12 p.m, ET, followed by a 4 p.m., ET afternoon cap.
