DK Suresh Ekambaram qualified for both the singles and doubles NCAA championships.

TULSA, Okla. – The Wake Forest men's tennis program concluded its run at the 2025 ITA All-American Championships with a collection of strong performances across both singles and doubles draws, highlighted by a run to the final from the doubles team of DK Suresh and Andrew Delgado.

No. 22 Suresh and Delgado paired up and opened play in the round of 32 with a 6-1, 6-4 victory against Stanford's No. 16-ranked Godsick/Rivera pairing. The duo went on to defeat Middle Tennessee's Horak/Al-Amin in straight sets, outlast Ohio State's No. 44 Okonkwo/Bernard in a deciding tiebreaker, and then defeat No. 21 Inchauspe/Ardila of Princeton in a pair of tiebreaks to reach the finals.

By advancing to the semifinals, Suresh and Delgado officially earned a berth in the NCAA Doubles Championships. They ultimately fell in the championship match to top-ranked Jovanovic/Sanchez Martinez of Mississippi State

In singles, Suresh, who was the No. 1-overall seed in the tournament, opened his main-draw campaign with a straight-sets victory over No. 51 Bryce Nakashima of Ohio State, 6-3, 6-4.

The No. 3 player in the ITA singles rankings then continued his run with a thrilling 6-4, 2-6, 7-6(4) win over #57 Vlad Breazu (Oregon) and booked his ticket to the round of 16 where he would face TCU's Dunchan Chan.

Suresh continued his tournament beating No. 106 Chan with a come-from-behind, 4-6, 6-4, 6-2, performance. By advancing to the quarterfinals, he automatically qualified for the NCAA Singles Championships where he made a run to the semifinals a year ago.

Due to a scheduling conflict on Friday, he withdrew from his quarterfinal match against Virginia's Dylan Dietrich to participate in his doubles match with Delgado.

Luca Pow, who holds the No. 92 ITA singles ranking, authored one of the most impressive runs of the week, winning two matches in qualifying, including a 6-2, 6-2 victory over Tulsa's Nikita Volonski, to earn a main draw berth.

The Englishmen then defeated No. 45 Jeremy Jin of Florida, 6-3, 6-2, to reach the round of 32 before bowing out to Baylor's Devin Badenhorst.

Pow would grab another win in the consolation bracket over No. 58 Viktor Markov of Clemson (2-6, 6-3, 6-4) as he would finish his week with four total wins and two against top-60 ranked opponents.

No. 100 and redshirt freshman Andrew Delgado also advanced out of the opening qualifying round, picking up a 6-1, 6-1 decision over Kentucky's Charlelie Cosnet, before falling in a three-set battle to Arkansas' Jakub Vrba.

Also in qualifying, newcomer and No. 91-ranked Kacper Szymkowiak defeated Memphis' Moritz Kudernatsch, 6-4, 6-4, in his Wake Forest debut, but dropped his second match against Georgia's Santiago Giamichelle.

Sophomore Joaquin Guilleme gained valuable national-level experience, picking up a consolation win in pre-qualifying after an opening-round defeat.

Pow and Szymkowiak, ranked No. 11, also impressed in doubles. The pair came back in their opener against Michigan State before cruising past SMU's Svajda/Georgiev in the round of 16. Their run ended in the quarterfinals with a straight-sets loss to the No. 1-seeded Mississippi State duo.
