Demon Deacons Move Past Short-Handed Campbell

The Demon Deacons complete the weekend with two 7-0 sweeps, taking down Campbell on Sunday afternoon.
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The No. 16 Wake Forest women's tennis team picked up another complete win on Sunday with a 7-0 victory against Campbell.
The Demon Deacons (4-3) only needed to win one doubles match to pick up the point due to Campbell (0-2) traveling only five players. Wake Forest still won both matches, though, and jumped out to an early 2-0 lead in the day's action.
With the 2-0 lead, the Deacs did not slow down heading into singles play. Carolyn Campana and Brooke Killingsworth picked up two quick straight-set victories to push the lead to 4-0 over Campbell, securing the win. Campana and Killingsworth did not give up a single game between their two matches.
Soon after clinching the win, Anna Brylin completed another dominant performance pushing the Demon Deacons' advantage to 5-0.
The Deacs eventually closed out the victory, winning in commanding fashion at 7-0. The trio of Bylin, Campana, and Killingsworth gave up just two games total on the day.
