
Demon Deacons Look to Continue Winning Ways at Notre Dame

The No. 27 ranked Wake Forest women’s tennis team will be in search of their third consecutive Atlantic Coast Conference victory on Friday afternoon.
NOTRE DAME, Ind. - After a pair of home wins over the weekend, the No. 27 Wake Forest women's tennis team is set to visit Notre Dame on Friday afternoon before matching up with Louisville on Sunday.
The first serve on Friday against the Fighting Irish (8-6, 3-4 ACC) is scheduled for 3 p.m. ET at the Courtney Tennis Center.
The Demon Deacons (6-5, 2-2 ACC) are looking to build off of home victories over No. 13 Georgia Tech and Clemson over the weekend. Friday's win against the Yellow Jackets marked the second ranked win of the season for Wake Forest after defeating No. 18 UCF during ITA Kickoff Weekend.
With the help of the two wins, the Deacs rose five spots in the latest ITA rankings as they now sit just outside of the top 25 at No. 27.

LAST TIME
No. 32 Wake Forest women's tennis team finished the sweep of the home weekend, grabbing a 6-1 victory over Clemson Sunday afternoon at Wake Forest Tennis Center.
- A day after defeating No. 13 Jones of Georgia Tech, Carolyn Campana followed it up with another straight-set win, taking care of Louka, 6-2, 6-0, on court one.
- For the second consecutive day, it was freshman Casie Wooten who played clincher in the No. 6 match. After controlling the first set with a 6-2 victory, she dominated the second frame, winning in 6-0 fashion.

The Deacs continue the road weekend, making the trip to Louisville on Sunday afternoon.
