
Wake Forest Set to Close Weekend at Louisville

The No. 27 Demon Deacons will be in search of their third win in the last four matches.
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The No. 27 Wake Forest women's tennis team closed out its road weekend on Sunday afternoon at Louisville.
The first serve in the matinee is scheduled for Noon ET against the Cardinals (6-6, 3-4 ACC) at the Bass-Rudd Tennis Center.
A victory for the Demon Deacons (6-6, 2-3 ACC) on Sunday would mark the third win in the last four matches and bring Wake Forest back above .500 on the season.
Wake Forest goes into the match with a 6-1 record against the Cardinals all-time with a six-match win streak dating back to 2015.
In the last match against Louisville, both Eliza Omirou and Peyton Pesavento picked up singles wins in the 6-1 victory.

LAST TIME
The No. 27 Wake Forest women's tennis team dropped a closely-contested match, 4-3, on the road at Notre Dame Friday afternoon.
- In the No. 1 singles match, No. 21 Carolyn Campana continued her impressive stretch of play. She captured her second ranked win in the last three matches, defeating No. 109 Corse.
- Anna Brylin was the third Demon Deacon to claim a singles win, her team-high ninth of the season. After the match was tied at a set a piece, Brylin dominated the third set, winning 6-2 to capture her fourth consecutive singles win.

The Deacs are back home for three straight matches at the Wake Forest Tennis Center, starting with Syracuse on Friday, March 10.
The first serve for Friday is set for 4 p.m.
