
Demon Deacons Look for Four in a Row at Home

The No. 29 Wake Forest women’s tennis team will face Boston College on Sunday as it looks to close the weekend with a pair of wins.
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The No. 29 Wake Forest women's tennis team is set to face Boston College Sunday afternoon.
The first serve in the matinee is scheduled for 11 a.m. ET against the Eagles (4-6, 2-6 ACC) at Wake Forest Tennis Center. Boston College has dropped three-straight matches heading into Sunday.
A victory for the Demon Deacons (8-6, 4-3 ACC) on Sunday would mark the fifth win in the last six matches and extend their home winning streak to four matches.
Wake Forest goes into the match with a 12-6 record against the Eagles all-time, winning four of the last five matches. Additionally, the Deacs are 5-3 against Boston College at home.
The last match against Boston College came in the 2019 ACC Tournament with the Deacs claiming a 4-2 victory to advance to the ACC Quarterfinals. Eliza Omirou captured a three-set win to help boost Wake Forest to the win.

LAST TIME
The No. 29 Wake Forest women's tennis team picked up a home conference win over Syracuse Friday afternoon at Wake Forest Tennis Center.
- After taking the 3-0 lead, the Demon Deacons did not slow down. Anna Campana picked up a quick win in the No. 2 match, clinching the win for Wake Forest.
- Wake Forest kept the dominant play going and moved the lead to 5-0 with a three-set victory from No. 98 Eliza Omirou.

The Deacs close the home stretch of matches at the Wake Forest Tennis Center Friday, facing Old Dominion.
