Wake Forest Returns Home for Pair of Matches

This marks the third consecutive match the Demon Deacons will face a top-15 opponent.
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - For the third consecutive match, the Wake Forest women's tennis team is set to play a top-15 opponent, hosting No. 13 Georgia Tech on Saturday afternoon before matching up with Clemson on Sunday.
The first serve on Saturday versus the Yellow Jackets (9-5, 2-1 ACC) is scheduled for Noon ET at the Wake Forest Tennis Center with another Noon ET start set for Sunday against the Tigers (5-6, 0-3 ACC).
The Demon Deacons (4-5, 0-2 ACC) are looking to build on the momentum of nearly defeating No. 5 Florida State last weekend in Tallahassee. Wake Forest fell 4-3 to the Seminoles in the Deacs first outdoor match of the season.
Wake Forest goes into the matches this weekend sporting a 19-3 home record over the last three seasons. This includes a 3-1 mark this season.

LAST TIME
Wake Forest nearly knocked off No. 5 Florida State on Sunday afternoon, falling, 4-3, in Tallahassee, Fla. with the help of an early doubles point victory.
- Although the Deacons lost the match, Anna Campana and Anna Brylin picked up two wins towards the end of the day to put the Old Gold and Black on the board in singles play for a final score of 4-3 Seminoles.
- Brylin's win came over No. 106 Allen, picking up her first ranked win of the season.
NEXT UP
The Deacs are back on the road, traveling to Notre Dame and Louisville on March 12 and 14, respectively.
The first serve for Friday is set for 4 p.m. and Sunday's start is scheduled for Noon ET.
