Three Demon Deacons Selected to All-ACC Team
GREENSBORO, N.C. - The Wake Forest women's golf program has three members selected to the 2021 All-ACC Team, per the league's announcement today. This is the fourth consecutive year the Deacs have had two or more selections. *
Senior Siyun Liu and sophomores Rachel Kuehn and Lauren Walsh have earned All-ACC honors for the 2021 season. The Demon Deacons are coming off a third-place finish at the ACC Championships in Greensboro two weeks ago where Kuehn was the third-place medalist. Liu finished three strokes behind Kuehn in fifth place and Walsh finished in a tie for 11th.
Kuehn and Walsh lead the team with a 71.23 stroke average each and all three Deacs have competed in the lineup for Wake Forest at every team event this season. All five of Walsh's finishes have come inside the top 20, all five of Kuehn's finishes have come inside the top 26, and Liu has had four top 15 finishes in five events.
Wake Forest is currently ranked No. 3 in the latest GolfStat ranking and was selected as the No. 1 seed at the Stanford Regional on Wednesday afternoon. NCAA Regionals will be May 10-12 in Stanford, California.
