Six Demon Deacons Land on All-ACC Field Hockey Academic Team

The number ties for second most in the conference and the fourth time since 2007 with at least six honorees.
GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Six Demon Deacons were named to the All-Atlantic Coast Conference Field Hockey Academic Team, announced by the league on Monday morning.
Grace Delmotte, Nat Friedman, Tori Glaister, Meike Lanckohr, Hannah Maxwell and Laia Vancells all garnered the prestigious honor thanks to a combination of academic and athletic achievements during the 2020-21 campaign.
Academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team are a 3.0 grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during one's academic career. Athletic achievements during the most recent season are also considered in selecting the All-ACC Academic Team.
The six honorees are tied for the second most among conference foes and marks the fourth time since 2007 the Demon Deacons have placed at least six student-athletes on the team.
