Lanckohr Named NFHCA All-American

The Voerendaal, Netherlands native caps off her sophomore season with her first career All-American honor.
BROCKPORT, N.Y. - Meike Lanckohr was named a National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Third Team Division I All-American, announced by the organization on Tuesday night.
Lanckohr earned the first All-American honor of her career after a stellar sophomore campaign as the midfielder tallied a team-best and career-high 12 points with four goals and four assists. She becomes the 12th Demon Deacon to reach NFHCA All-American status in the last 10 years and the 47th All-American since 2000.
The Voerendaal, Netherlands native notched a season-high tying three points in Wake Forest's 4-1 win at Duke, scoring one goal and assisting on a score. She also found back of the net in the fall versus Syracuse (Oct. 18, 2020), Duke (Oct. 23, 2020) and Boston College (Nov. 1, 2021), while assisting on one of Wake Forest's two goals in the ACC Automatic Qualifier Game at North Carolina on April 23
Lanckohr also garnered First Team All-ACC honors and earned a spot on the NFHCA All-South Region team.
