No. 15 Deacs Ready for Wolfpack Cross Country Challenge

RALEIGH, N.C. – The Wake Forest cross country teams will be traveling to the Wolfpack Adidas Cross Country Challenge hosted by NC State on Friday night at Wake Med Sports Complex.
There is no video feed for the meet, but live results are available by clicking HERE. The meet is open to the public and admission is free.
The men's 6k will start at 6:00 p.m., followed by the women's 5k at 6:25 p.m.
The men's team enters this race ranked No. 15 nationally in the USTFCCCA poll and comes in as the second highest-ranked ACC squad. Six of the Deacs' seven NCAA participants return from the 2020-21 squad. Zach Facioni leads the way for Wake Forest's men after his All-American honors in 2021. The Deacs also welcome Thomas Vanoppen, Ryanrd Swanepoel and Justin Robison to the roster to help bolster a strong lineup.
The women's team is headlined by Madeline Rehm after she placed 34th at the ACC championship, respectively. The Deacs welcome back four of their top six— Madeline Rehm, Elise Wright, Zoe Clay and Hana Castimanes. The Deacs also welcome newcomers Carolien Millenaar, Laura Giudice, and Leigh Walters.
