All five Demon Deacons finished inside the top 20.

GREENSBORO, N.C. – The Wake Forest women's golf team secured the team victory by 13 strokes at the 23rd Bryan National Intercollegiate.

This is the first time in program history the Wake Forest women's and men's golf teams have both won a tournament on the same day, as the men's team won the Old Town Collegiate in Winston-Salem Tuesday afternoon.

Kuehn was even par heading into the eighth hole of the day, where she recorded her only double of the event and bounced back with birdies on nine and 11 to get back to even par. Three birdies on her final six holes secured her two-under score for the day and six-under finish for the event.

Grad transfer Virunpat Olankitkunchai, playing for the B squad this week, finished in sole possession of fourth place with a three-round total of five under par. Sitting even par at the turn, she recorded two birdies on her second nine holes to finish one-under for the third round.

She was also sitting at even par at the turn and recorded a birdie on the par-five 15th to finish the final round one under par.

Sophomore Mimi Rhodes had her best round of the event on Tuesday. Three birdies on her first nine holes aided her tied for 10th finish. She finished the day with a birdie on her last hole to close out the round at four under par. She finished one under par for the event.

Coach's Comments
"We are so proud of this group, both groups. Everyone faced some kind of adversity, and everyone was able to overcome it. Overall, we played well and saw some good things out of each player. The Bryan is a special tournament for us, and we are always happy when we come home with a trophy. The course was in great shape and the weather was perfect for all three days. We have a few things to work on before our next event, but we are going to enjoy this one today." - head coach Kim Lewellen
