The Demon Deacons look to continue their winning ways after improving their winning streak to three games on Saturday against High Point.
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – On the heels of a three-game winning streak, the Wake Forest women's basketball team is set to travel to Charlotte Sunday to face the 49ers at Dale F. Halton Arena.
The Deacs (6-3) continued their winning way at home in the last outing as Wake Forest improved to 4-0 at LJVM Coliseum Saturday with a win over High Point. The Demon Deacons have won 15 of the last 16 games at home against non-conference games. Additionally, Saturday's win over the Panthers marked the third-consecutive season the Deacs have started 4-0 at home. Wake Forest has won 10 of the last 11 games in the series including the last five at Charlotte.
The 49ers (4-3) come into the game with a perfect 3-0 record in home games this season. Additionally, all three of the Charlotte losses have come against Power-5 opponents either on the road or at a neutral site. The last two games the 49ers have been without their second-leading scorer in fifth-year guard Mikayla Boykin who averaged 15.6 points per game in the first five games of the season. Their leading scorer is redshirt sophomore guard Dazia Lawrence who has posted 16.0 points per game this season and has averaged 20.0 points per game in the last two contests.
Tipoff is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. (ET) in Charlotte. For those not at the arena, fans can tune in to ESPN+. A live stats feed can be found here.

LIV BIG ON THE BOARDS
The Demon Deacons owned the glass Saturday night, finishing +21 in the rebounding battle including a career-best performance from senior forward Olivia Summiel.
With a game-high and career-high 16 rebounds, Summiel notched her second career double-double and the first for her this season. Additionally, Saturday's performance marked Summiel's 10th double-digit rebounding performance of her career.

The rebounding total marked is tied for the third-most by an ACC player this season and she is just one of four players to do so while also recording double-digit points:
