Wake Forest is set for its final road game of the regular season against Boston College Sunday at Conte Forum.
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The Wake Forest women's basketball team is scheduled to play its final regular season road game on Sunday at Boston College.
The Deacs (13-13, 3-12 ACC) have continued to find balanced scoring throughout the lineup with the Demon Deacons having four or more players in double figures in each of the last four games. Additionally, those games are the only this Atlantic Coast Conference season that Wake Forest has accomplished the feat. Sophomore guard Jewel Spear continues to lead the conference in scoring by nearly a point and a half, a distinction she has had for nearly the entire 2021-22 season. Additionally, her points per game are 8.0 better than a season ago.
The Golden Eagles (16-10, 7-8 ACC) are 2-5 in their last seven games and they have lost three of their last four games. They are led by a senior duo of guard Cameron Swartz and forward Taylor Soule, one of the highest scoring duos in the conference. Swartz and Soule combine to average 31.0 points per game. Additionally, they have each reached double figures in each of the last 12 games for Boston College.
Tipoff is scheduled for Noon (ET) at Conte Forum. For those not at the arena, fans can tune in on ACC Network.
Fans can follow along via the Demon Deacons Twitter, Instagram and Facebook accounts (@WakeWBB).
