Demon Deacons Seeking Sixth ACC Road Win at Clemson

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The Wake Forest men's basketball team will play their final road game of the regular season on Wednesday evening at Clemson.
The Demon Deacons (21-7, 11-6) are coming off a 79-74 victory over Notre Dame in which the team overcame a 12-point first half deficit. Wake Forest is looking to win its sixth ACC road game for the first time since the 1996-97 season.
The Tigers (12-15, 4-12) are coming off a 70-61 defeat at Louisville last Saturday.

Several Deacs currently rank at the top of the conference leaderboards in several categories:
Williams currently leads the ACC in both points and assists, and is the only player in the Power 5 averaging at least 19.0 points (19.9), 6.0 rebounds (6.9) and 5.0 assists (5.1). Williams has the opportunity to be the first player to finish the season leading the ACC in points and assists since the conference began tracking assists in 1973.
With Jake LaRavia's 20 points, nine rebounds, and five assists against the Fighting Irish, the Williams/LaRavia duo is averaging 34.7 points per game and 8.8 assists per game, making them the top scoring tandem in the ACC and the runner-up pair in assists just behind Virginia's Reece Beekman and Kihei Clark (9.1).
LaRavia was named the ACC's Player of the Week on Monday after averaging 19.5 points per game, 9.5 rebounds per game and three assists per game last week against Duke and Notre Dame. LaRavia captured his fourth double-double of the season at Duke last Tuesday with 19 points and 10 rebounds. He tallied 20 points, nine rebounds, five assists and four steals against Notre Dame.
Through 17 ACC games, the Demon Deacons lead the conference in team field goal percentage (49.1) and are second in opponent field goal percentage (40.5). Wake Forest has held nine of its 17 ACC opponents to below 40 percent shooting and leads the conference with seven ACC victories by 15 points or more.
Additionally, the Demon Deacons rank second in conference play in fouls drawn (16.9), second in assists per game (15.5), third in total rebounds per game (37.1), and fifth in blocks per game (3.9).
