The Demon Deacons are set to host No. 25 UCF and NC Wesleyan on Friday and No. 7 Georgia and NC Central on Sunday at the Wake Forest Indoor Tennis Center.
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The No. 10 Wake Forest men's tennis team will host No. 25 UCF, NC Wesleyan on Friday and No. 7 Georgia and NC Central on Sunday inside the friendly confines of the Wake Forest Indoor Tennis Center.

FAN INFORMATION
Fans are reminded to use caution for road closures and detours near Weaver Fertilizer Plant.
All patrons ages 12 and older will be required to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination OR a negative COVID-19 PCR or rapid test taken within 48 hours of the event in order to enter the Indoor Tennis Center.
Fans attending matches at the Indoor Tennis Center are encouraged to arrive early with the addition of the following health and safety measures.

LAST TIME OUT
For the fifth time since 2016, the No. 10 Wake Forest advanced to the ITA National Team Indoor Championship in Seattle, Wa. after knocking off No. 16 Michigan and Notre Dame at the ITA Kickoff Weekend in Winston-Salem.
The Deacs came from behind to defeat No. 16 Michigan (4-3) with the help of the heroics of Filippo Moroni who clinched the match, 7-6 (8), 3-6, 6-3.
In the championship match, the Deacs topped Notre Dame, 4-1 to punch their ticket to Seattle, Wa.
HOME DOMINANCE
Since head coach Tony Bresky took over the reins in 2011, the Wake Forest men's tennis team has boasted a 158-23 mark in Winston-Salem. Since the 2016-17 season, the Demon Deacons have posted a remarkable 88-4 record in the friendly confines of the Wake Forest Tennis Complex.
RANKED DEACS
Finding themselves in the singles rankings were Filippo Moroni (75), Jakob Schnaitter (85), Taha Baadi (100) and Robert Maciag (117). In doubles, Siddhant Banthia was ranked twice as Banthia and Schnaitter were at No. 19, Maciag and Ben Draper were No. 26 and Banthia and Juan Lopez de Azcona claimed No. 50.
SIX NEWCOMERS
The Deacs welcome six newcomers to the 2022 squad, three by way of transfer and three freshmen. Vikas Deo, Adam Duan and Togan Makzume serve as Wake Forest's trio of freshmen, while transfers Ben Draper (California), Jakob Schnaitter (Azusa Pacific) and Jurabek Karimov (Uzbekistan) each call Winston-Salem home.
SCOUTING NO. 25 UCF
Wake Forest leads the all-time series 3-1, having recently met last year in Orlando. The Deacs fell 4-3 against the Knights.
UCF is 1-3 in dual-match action, with a win over Louisville. The Knights moved down to No. 25 from No. 20 in this week's ITA Coaches Poll. The Knights are 4-17 in dual singles matches and 1-3 in winning the doubles point.
Singles Rankings:
NC Wesleyan will open up the season against Wake Forest. The Deacs own a 1-0 series record over the Battling Bishops.
SCOUTING NO. 7 GEORGIA
The Bulldogs currently stand at 3-0 for the season with wins over UCF, VCU and USF. Before 2017, Georgia had won 16-straight over the Deacs. Within the last two meetings, Wake Forest has defeated Georgia in 4-3 fashion.
Singles Rankings:
NC Central comes in with a 0-3 record with losses over UNCG, Duke and UNC Asheville.
UP NEXT
The Deacs will hit the road for two high profile matches as they travel to No. 13 South Carolina Thursday, Feb. 10 at 5 p.m. ET and No. 5 Ohio State Sunday, Feb. 13 at 1 p.m. ET.
