WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - Wake Forest men's basketball will host VCU in the second round of the National Invitation Tournament at 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 19 inside Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum.
The game will broadcast on ESPN+.
The Demon Deacons' victory over Towson Wednesday night marked their first in a postseason tournament since 2010 and secured the program's seventh season all-time featuring at least 24 wins. The last Wake Forest team to record 24 wins was 2008-09.
Ticketing Information
Secure your spot for Saturday's NIT game in Winston-Salem for only $15 for a lower-level reserved seat. Tickets can be ordered online or by calling the Wake Forest Ticket Office at 336-758-3322 ext 1 during normal business hours. The ticket office is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Bridger Field House, and will open two hours prior to tipoff on Saturday at the LJVM Coliseum box office.
While tournament rules require admission to be charged for all attendees, including students, following the generosity of head coach Steve Forbes and his wife Johnetta, director of athletics John Currie and his wife Mary Lawrence, many others have answered the call to support student tickets for Saturday's game. The first 1,000 students will receive free tickets courtesy of these generous donors. The student ticket claim period will open on Thursday at 12 p.m. within the Screamin' Demon Rewards app. Members of the Wake Forest community who are interested in providing complimentary student tickets may donate here.
