
No. 7 Wake Forest Prepped for Final Regular Season Road Trip

The Demon Deacons are set for the final road trip of the regular season, taking a trip to No. 26 Notre Dame, Friday and No. 27 Louisville on Sunday.
NOTRE DAME, Ind. – No. 7 Wake Forest men's tennis will look to wrap up the final regular season road trip this weekend, traveling to No. 26 Notre Dame (14-8, 4-4 ACC) and No. 27 Louisville (14-6, 6-2 ACC).
The Demon Deacons (22-5, 5-1 ACC) are ready for two ACC road tests. No. 26 Notre Dame will host the Deacs for a Friday evening (April 1) match, while No. 27 Louisville is scheduled for Sunday's contest (April 3).
This weekend will cap off the regular season away matches before ending the season at home for eight-straight.

LAST TIME OUT
The Wake Forest men's tennis team dropped its first ACC match with a 4-1 loss to then-No. 11 Virginia at Virginia Tennis Facility at the Boar's Head Resort.
Virginia opened the day by securing the doubles point against the Demon Deacons and after the Deacs picked up their lone point in singles, the Cavaliers went on to win three-straight singles matches.

On Wednesday (Mar. 30), per updated national rankings released by the International Tennis Association (ITA), Wake Forest as a team was ranked No. 7 and continued to see familiar names placed among the lists of singles and doubles.

SCOUTING NO. 26 NOTRE DAME
Wake Forest leads the all-time series with a decisive 9-3, as the Deacs have won the last nine meetings. The last time the Deacs played the Fighting Irish was a 4-1 win earlier this season at the ITA Kickoff Weekend in Winston-Salem.
Notre Dame sits at 14-8 on the season, losing the last two matches to Duke (5-2) and North Carolina (4-0).
Singles Rankings:
The Deacs lead the all-time series with a 14-2, as the Deacs have won the nine meetings, dating back to 2012. The last time the Deacs played the Cardinals was a 4-1 win in Winston-Salem in 2021.
Louisville sits at 14-6 on the season, coming out of last weekend with a 1-1 weekend with a win over Duke (5-2) and a loss at North Carolina (4-1).
