Wake Forest’s NCAA East Regional Declarations Announced

Men's East Preliminary Declarations Women's East Preliminary Declarations

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - 14 members of the Wake Forest track & field program will travel to Bloomington, Ind., to compete at the NCAA East Regional May 25-28, as announced by the governing body on Thursday. The Demon Deacons group will compete in 11 events.

The top 48 declared athletes in the east region will make it to the region championships and to reach the national meet you need to be top 12 to advance to the national meet.

Earning a trip to the national meet will require that an athlete post one of the top 16 marks in the nation this year. The top 12 relay teams from across the country will also reach the NCAA Championship.

Anna Bush has already qualified for the NCAA Championship with her top-24 national performance at the ACC Outdoor Championships where she earned bronze in the heptathlon.
