Four Deacs to Compete at the 122nd U.S. Amateur

The opening round of the 122nd U.S. Amateur is set to tee off Monday in Paramus, N.J.
PARAMUS, N.J. – Four Wake Forest men's golfers are set to compete for the 122nd U.S. Aamateur title this week hosted by The Ridgewood Country Club in Paramus, N.J.
Rising senior Mark Power, rising junior Michael Brennan, rising junior Clay Stirsman and incoming freshman Andrew McLauchlan will begin their opening rounds on Monday, split between The Ridgewood Country and Arcola Country Club. All players in the field will play both courses in a stroke play format before narrowing the field down to 64 players for match play.
Starting with the Round of 64 in match play, the 122nd U.S. Amateur can be seen on both Peacock and Golf Channel. Both the Semifinals and Championship will be exclusively broadcast on the Golf Channel:
