- Volleyball:
- Wake Forest will split time at home and on the road this week, bringing in Virginia Tech for its first midweek showing of the year on Wednesday at 7 p.m. before traveling to NC State on Friday for another 7 p.m. outing.
- Wednesday will include the team's Pride Day match, as the first 100 fans to arrive at Varsity Arena will receive a free t-shirt.
- The Deacs are coming off their fourth weekend sweep of the fall – having downed Boston College and Syracuse on the road in 3-1 decisions.
- Sophomore libero Emma Farrell was named ACC Defensive Player of the Week on Monday, following a standout weekend performance that saw her average 4.5 digs-per-set while also notching new season highs in digs (24) and assists (nine) at Boston College. This is Farrell's second Defensive Player of the Week nod of 2023, after receiving the initial honor following week one.
- Women's Soccer:
- Following a three-match road swing, Wake Forest will return home to host No. 1 North Carolina Friday at Spry Stadium. Kick off is slated for 7 p.m., and the match can be streamed on ACC Network Extra.
- The Demon Deacons currently sit in seventh place in the ACC and are only one point shy of the top six, with four league matches remaining. The top six teams in the league reach the ACC Tournament.
- Field Hockey:
- The Demon Deacon return to Kentner Stadium for the first time since Sept. 24 at 5 p.m. on Friday against No. 8 Virginia.
- The match will serve as Wake Forest's Breast Cancer Awareness game with fans in attendance receiving pink pom-poms and a pink stress ball courtesy of Atrium Health.
- Wake goes back on the road facing off with Longwood on Sunday at 12 noon, where the Deacs will look to extend their nonconference win streak to three-straight.
- Women's Cross Country:
- Wake Forest received votes in the latest USTFCCCA Coaches Poll and has finished in the top six in every meet it has competed in this season.
- The Demon Deacons have been led by freshman Brooke Wilson, as the standout rookie has recorded a pair of top-10 individual finishes to open her collegiate career.
- The Deacs will return to action Saturday when they travel to Charlottesville, Va., for the XC23 College & Open Pre-Nationals.
