Tough On The Non-Conference Foes At Spry
With one final regular season non-conference match next Tuesday against Robert Morris ahead, the Demon Deacons are currently 5-0-1 at home this season against opponents outside of the ACC:
How It Happened
"It's a 2-0 victory. I think it's a positive result. We talked about trying to build upon the last couple of games. The game that we had against NC State set us up pretty well to come in here and have some confidence. We'd be remissed if we didn't talk about the Wofford game from last season, where they came in and they kind of threw us off a little bit. We wanted to make sure that we started off on the right foot and we wanted to build off of the victory against NC State, but then also make sure that we weren't going to get caught off guard. A 2-0 result is key. I think anytime you can get shutouts is great for the confidence of the team and to build on going into the weekend."
