Meisel Ends the Second Round Tied for Sixth at the Golf Club of Georgia Collegiate Invitational

Junior Marshall Meisel shot 4-under-par to finish in the top-10 during day two at the Creekside Course
ALPHARETTA, GA. - The Wake Forest men's golf team is through two rounds of play at the Golf Club of Georgia Collegiate Invitational.
During the first round, junior Marshall Meisel carded a season-low 69 (-3) at the Creekside course. The Chevy Chase, Md. native tallied five birdies and an eagle during the first 18 holes.
Meisel started the day ranked tied for seventh at the Golf Club of Georgia Collegiate. He recorded four birdies and ended the second round shooting a 71 (-1). The Maryland native ended the day tied for sixth and is looking to make his highest finish of the season in Alpharetta.
Scotty Kennon and Meisel are in the top-10 of birdies recorded through the first two rounds of play. Clay Stirsman and Michael Brennan are tied for second in eagles recorded at the end of day two. Sophomore Andrew McLauchlan leads the field in total pars at the Golf Club of Georgia Collegiate.
The Demon Deacons are set to tee off Sunday morning from 8:50 a.m. to 9:34 a.m. along with UCLA and USC. Stirsman tees off first for the Deacs during the final round of the fall at the Golf Club of Georgia Collegiate Invitational.
